Shanghai MHI Engine Co., Ltd. (SME) is a joint venture jointly established by Shanghai diesel engine Limited by Share Ltd and MITSUBISHI Heavy Industries Co.,Ltd.
The company mainly produces S6R2/S12R/S16R series engines, which are licensed by MITSUBISHI heavy industry technology. This series of products are mainly used for land generating units, and the power coverage is 500kW to 2000kW.
SR series products are the main products of the large engine in non - Road industrial production by MITSUBISHI heavy industry. Besides the local factories in Japan, they also produce the same series of products in the French factory. It is mainly used for land power station, marine main engine and auxiliary machine. Products sell well in the European and American markets, and have been highly recognized by users in China. On the platform of the series of diesel engines, there are land power stations that meet the US EPA2 emissions and marine diesel engines that meet IMO2 emissions.
